With Lifeline of VNS Home Health Services, help is just the press of a button away.

Simply press the lightweight waterproof help button whenever you need help. This activates a small in home unit called a communicator which will put you in touch with a Lifeline Monitor who talks to you to determine what type of service you need. If you press your button but cannot speak, Lifeline sends help at once. Whether it is a neighbor, family member or ambulance, Lifeline will send the help you need right away.

With Lifeline of VNS Home Health Services, your loved ones can rest assured that you’re safe, secure and happy in your home.

Your Lifeline equipment will be installed and maintained by employees of VNS Home Health Services, not contractors. We’re local and will be there when you need us. Units can usually be installed within 24 hours.

The basic Lifeline communicator is $38 a month. There is no installation fee. You may cancel at any time. This communicator also has “remote call answer” which allows subscribers to answer all incoming calls with their Lifeline button, reducing the potential for falls when rushing to answer the phone.


A telephone Lifeline communicator is also available for $43 a month. This telephone/communicator features:

Remote call answer
Ability to record medication and appointment reminders to help you stay on schedule
Enunciated dialing that announces numbers when pressed
Large, high contrast and illuminated keypad for visually impaired use
Three way volume control, handset, speaker phone, and ringer volume
Hearing aid compatible handset allows to keep hearing aid in ear and turned on without receiving feedback
