URI cheerleaders get rowdy for breast health

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year in the United States, more than 245,000 women get breast cancer.

Mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and sometimes undetectable without diagnostic imaging.

The team from South County Health -- with a special assist from the University of Rhode Island cheerleaders – put together this special video encouraging everyone to learn more about the importance of early detection and mammograms.
