The members of the South County Health (SCH) physician liaison team are available to help referring physicians navigate through the referral process, address specific issues or concerns, and help facilitate communication between referring physicians and SCH specialists.
Our knowledgeable team is happy to assist physicians with any problems that may arise and to help make the referral process smooth. We look forward to working with individual physicians and their staff to help them form and maintain meaningful relationships with South County Health.
Michelle joined South County Hospital in October 1998. She has a strong background in physician business development and in diagnostic imaging service line marketing. She has served in a variety of roles, including marketing with small independent radiology facilities. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at Rhode Island College and her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Management at Salve Regina University.
Michelle has been an active member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons (AAPL) since 2007. In 2001 she expanded the role of physician liaison at South County Health to include a new liaison in Westerly, RI where the South County Health Medical & Wellness Center opened in May of 2016.
